Week 1: MP3  Week 3: MP3

Rev. Roberts will be leading a Lenten study, "Journeying Into Lent", From February 29 through the season of Lent.
In February Lucille Everhart will be leading a class on contemplative prayer and Lectio Divina. Lectio Divina, is a Latin term, meaning "divine reading" and describes a way of reading the Scriptures whereby we gradually let go of our own agenda and open ourselves to what God wants to say to us.

Also beginning in February, we will be offering Adam Hamilton’s study “Christianity and World Religions: Wrestling with Questions People Ask.” Some of the tough questions that will be discussed are:

  • Why are there so many different religions?

  • How should Christians view other religions?

  • How is God at work in other religions?

  • What is the fate of those who earnestly pursue God through other religions?

This will be an interesting and informative study that will generate many opportunities for discussion.
