RELAY FOR LIFE 2007

Dear Friends,

The Relay for Life 2007 will take place on the Peninsula with the sites and dates listed as follows:

Darling Stadium, Hampton, June 1st - The theme for this year is - 007 - Licensed to Cure
Todd Stadium, May 11th
York/Poquoson High School, June 8th

Forms are available if you would like to have a luminary or luminaries lit at the 2007 Relay for Life to honor a loved one who has or has had cancer. The suggested donation is $10.00 per luminary. Please make your check payable to: American Cancer Society and return it to any HBC Team member.

Listed below are our planned fund raisers for this year's Relay for Life:

1. Coco-Cola Sales. 20 oz bottles, 24 bottles per case; $18.00 per caseSale ends March 18, 2007. Delivery on Friday , March 23rd.

2. Spaghetti Dinner & Talent (or not) Show - Saturday, March 24th at 5:30 PM at HBC. Sign up in the church office or call Joanne Barbour or
Jane Austin. Help is needed and appreciated.

3. Pancake Breakfast, Bazaar & Bake Sale at HBC, Saturday, April 21, 2007starting at 8:30 AM. Suggested donation of $5.00 a person for breakfast.

4. Yard Sale at the Ransons, 3514 Spottswood Place, Hampton (Olde Wythe),Saturday, May 5, 2007 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

5. Barbour Cook Books available for donation of $5.00

You are invited to attend and participate in any or all of the above events. Please plan to attend this Relay for Life at one of the sites. The Hampton Baptist Church teams will be participating in the Relay for Life Walk at Darling Stadium on Friday, June 1, 2007.

It is inspiring to see all the luminaries. We all know people who are near and dear to us that have encountered this dreaded disease. Walking together we can -Help Beat Cancer.
